Guerrilla Gardening Surprise

sunflowerpaperpots2I have a new guerrilla gardening tactic. Walk around with a flat of seedlings wrapped up neatly in paper pots and see what happens. I love the quizzical looks – eyes quickly darting from me to the tray, back to me and then back to the tray. The smile comes somewhere in between. It’s certainly a conversation starter. Meaning comes when I offer happy passerby’s a seedling – better yet, in this case, a sunflower.

That sounds like a lot of fun to hand out seedlings. People don’t expect such generosity. Have Fun in the Garden!
